Eagle Rock Lodge, and Freemasonry in general, has at their foundation the goal of improving the lives of it's members and their families, but along the way they have perform a number of services to the community.
Membership in the Masonic Fraternity is open to all men (in Idaho the minimum age is 18) of good character. While Masonry, or Freemasonry, requires a belief in a Supreme Being, it is NOT a religious organization. Masons around the world are Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, and many others, and yet they still meet together with tolerance and fraternity. There are related organizations for women as well as (separate!!) organizations for young men , and young women.
Many people know that Shriner's are dedicated to providing free medical care to all children, but not many know that the Shrine is one extension of Masonry. The Scottish Rite, whose charity involves learning disabled children, and the York Rite, whose charity is the Eye Foundation, are also extensions of Masonry.
